Mojo x5

  1. What does it feel like when something is too challenging? Is it wrong that we feel this way?
Answer: It is very normal to feel like something is too challenging. We are humans and we don't know everything and that can be really annoyong sometimes. We learn something new almost every day, some things are small and won't effect you really much but some things will and it is the bigger things that can get annoying if you don't understand them.

  1. What kind of attitude should we take on when facing a challenge, and why is that important?
Answer: We should be open. We know that it's gonna be a challenge so we really have to look at the challenge from different aspects.

  1. When taking on a challenge, it's okay to ask for help or to take a break to reflect, like Mojo did! Does this mean we aren't growing our brain anymore?
Answer: No. Because it is something new every time so your brain is still working, just on other things.

  1. What are neurons and how do we make connections between our neurons?
Answer: It's the things in your brain that are connected together. You have to challenge yourself in order for them to work.

  1. Think of an example where you made some new connections in your brain. What were you doing?
Answer: In German we sometimes have to gabble something in grammar to really remember it and that can sometimes be a challenge for me. My brain really works when I gabble.

  1. What can you do this week to make some new connections? Set one specific goal.
Answer: I'm going to learn something new in Arabic. It is the first lesson so I'm not sure if we really are gonna do something that's gonna be challenging but we'll see.

Just därför ökade även krigsriskerna. Regeringen var inte folkvalda .

Mojo x3

  1. What should you do if you are stuck on a project, math problem, or other learning?
Answer: I would probably ask he teacher or a friend for help. Depends on if I really don't know how to solve it or if it's just something that I've forgot.

  1. Think of a time you were afraid to ask for help. Why did you feel afraid?
Answer: So I went to a camp and there were many kids there, like 7 years and under. And in the forest you could find a lot of berrys so me and my sister went with some kids and ate and then we went back to the camping place and some other kids heard that there were berrys in the forestso they wanted to go with us and eat so we were like okay that's all good. And before we went my sister said that she didn't want to go again so I was like ''i's okay, I have it all under control'' but guess who didn't have it all under control? Me. There were a kid who was hitting other children so I tried to tell him that it's not okay to hit other people and that he had to say sorry but he didn't want to say sorry or anything so it was hard. And some kids had to go to the toilet and it was chaos and I didn't want to ask for help because I didn't wanna be mean to the kids. Because what if their parents told them that they can't go because they weren't listening? That would be so mean of me.

  1. Why is the word "yet" so powerful? Think of a "yet" moment in your life and describe it.
Answer: Well I guess it is because it's like ''I haven't done it yet but I will do it''.

I really don't know about a yet moment in my life.

  1. What does the quote from the video, "mistakes can make you smarter" mean to you?
Answer: That you learn from what you have done wrong so that you don't make the same mistake again.

  1. How can we learn from our mistakes? Talk about a specific, recent example.
Answer: We have to understand what we have done wrong.

So in Arabic all the words are compound but there are some letters that can't take another letter from the left. And on this beautiful day I wrote an essay and I was supposed to write the word ''butter'' and in this case the last letter was alone, it wasnt compound with the other letters. And I wrote the last letter a little bit too far away so it became a whole different word than what it was supposed to be. And I didn't think about it, I was just proud that I wrote the whole essay so I went home and showed my dad and my dad kinda freaked out because I wrote something else and I'm just glad the teacher didn't want the essay that time.

  1. If you were building a robot and kept "failing,” what would you do?
Answer: Depends on what mood I'm in. I would either get really frustrated and stop for a while and then continue or just keep going.

Mojo x1

  1. Why does Mojo want to leave school? Can you sometimes relate to how Mojo is feeling?
Answer: Mojo was really good in his math class. But the tasks got harder and harder for him and he couldn't do it anymore so he gave up. He didn't feel smart.

Yes, I can relate to Mojo sometimes.

  1. What does Katie say to Mojo to convince him not to leave?
Answer: She tells him that everyone can get smarter and that the brain is a muscle. You just have to train it.

  1. Do you think Mojo can become smarter? Why or why not?
Answer: Yes of course. Because he can ask a teacher, or a classmate to help him. He has to understand the whole concept of what he is doing to solve the tasks.

  1. What subject do you feel frustrated by sometimes? Can you see yourself becoming smarter in that subject? How?
Answer: I feel frustrated with Arabic. Beacuse I've been practicing Arabic since kindergarden, yet I still don't know how to read or write like I can with Swedish or English.

I have become better the last two years so I do see myself becoming better at it. I just have to continue reading and writing outside the class.
